Welcome to the Forums! Please Read

Hello Adventurer!

Let me be the first to welcome you to the official Warhammer: Odyssey Community Forums. This site is here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can discuss all aspects of Warhammer: Odyssey with other players.

Community forums work best when participants treat their fellow posters with respect and courtesy, so we ask that you take the time to read through the forum FAQ/Guidelines and Terms of Service before posting.

Forum Guide

Reporting Posts
You can report a post that goes against our or forum guidelines by using the “flag” icon at the bottom right corner of the offending post. Please note you can only submit a given number of reports per day, so please avoid using this functionality to report posts you don’t like or agree with and limit usage to posts that are clear violations.

If one of your posts or threads has removed by a moderator and you would like to appeal, please send us an email.

Search
The search function at the top of the community site is extremely effective and robust. Before you create a new forum topic, we recommend using search for similar topics, blog posts, or web pages that may contain the information you seek. Making a new thread on an existing subject can result in your thread being deleted or, if you continue to re-post the same content, the loss of your forum privileges for spamming.

Trust Levels
Trust levels are a form of user participation on these forums. There are four levels of Trust (0, 1, 2, and 3).

By actively posting, liking, or engaging in topics, reporting forum violations, or simply visiting and reading posts, you can increase your Trust level. Higher trust levels come with more posting privileges, including gaining access to the ability to create links, increasing your “like” limit, and become a stellar example of a constructive user to the entire community.

Posting Guidelines

Post In The Right Category
Refer to the forum descriptions on the main page to ensure that you are posting a topic in the most appropriate category. If you are unsure, you can post in General Discussion.

Please note that off-topic threads or topics belonging to a different category will be moderated and may be moved or removed.

Discuss Warhammer: Odyssey
These forums are specifically for discussing Warhammer: Odyssey and the Warhammer Fantasy World. Avoid any topics not related to the game, the lore, or the developers.

Mind Your Formatting
Please do not use tactics to bring more attention to your thread, such as posting in all capital letters, using misleading titles, excessive punctuation, emojis, and/or weird symbols.

Don’t Ask for Devs
Creating threads with titles asking for devs, admins, or development team members’ names is not allowed.

Everyone would like a member from the development team to read and respond to their post or reply with an “official response”, and we understand that; however, requesting for such responses will not make that happen. Posts that are well-written and constructive are most likely to receive a response from a developer.

Contribute to Threads
Replies to threads should be related to and contribute to the discussion of the topic. Posts that are simply to “bump” a thread, IBTL (“In Before Thread Lock”), “+/- 1”, or only contain a hashtag are considered spamming and are subject to moderation.

Do Not Engage In Necromancy
“Necroing” is the act of responding to old and/or outdated threads where the last response was more than 30 days. Chances are the information has changed and ask that you can create a new thread or you may attract the unwated attention of a Witch Hunter :witchhunter:.

Pro-tip: You can reference an older thread if your post if the subject is relevant and aides in getting your point across.

Don’t Post About Moderated Threads
Moderator & Administrator actions are considered final and not for public discussion. Posts that are moderated have a reason behind the moderation. Please do not create a thread or reply complaining about a recent action taken by forum staff.

Users will receive a PM or email detailing recent action taken against you. You have the right to appeal any actions by sending us an email.
